The Alternative Fuels and Vehicles Conference and Expo offers information, resources and products to help shape transportation decisions for fleets. The conference supprots nonpetroleum fuels including natural gas, ethanol, biodiesel, propane and electricity; and the alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) that can use those fuels.

The conference will feature sessions on the Health Effects of Air Pollution; Heath Tracking and Management Guidelines; Legislative and Policy Approaches; and Current Concepts in Asthma and Respiratory Diseases. The general conference program will begin Thursday morning with a keynote presentation on the Asthma and Air Pollution problems. Other conference highlights include esteemed researchers, scientists, community-organization leaders and policy makers exploring the health effects of traffic emissions, pollution exposure and the development of asthma, impacts of goods movement to respiratory illness, socioeconomic influences on respiratory disease, a global initiative for asthma, and the global warming connection. You will also hear inspiring stories from asthma sufferers who have achieved success in the face of adversity.
